The Boston Marathon is the oldest major marathon in the world. The 26.2 miles from Hopkinton to the finish line on Boylston Street are among the most storied miles in marathon history.

In 2013, of course, the finish line was the scene of a terrorist attack: three people were killed and hundreds more were injured when two homemade bombs exploded on Boylston Street. We're working on a project that reflects back on the 10 years since.

We are curious about how the entire marathon community — whether you are a runner, a spectator, simply a fan from afar — has dealt with this traumatic experience over the long term.

How do we move forward in a world that’s different than the one we thought we knew?

How do we reclaim something we love, when it's forever marked by tragedy?

We want to hear from you. Please tell us what you’re thinking and how you’re feeling by submitting your answers in the Google form below. Please don't forget to include your contact info, because we'll be following up with some of you for a special radio extension of this project.

Thank you for sharing your reflections with us.
