New features just added to the WBUR App include:
- On-demand, hourly local news updates from WBUR and hourly national news updates from NPR .
- Push notifications to stay up to date on essential news and more from WBUR.
- Gateway to WBUR newsletters and online news stories.
WBUR will celebrate the app's "official" relaunch — over apps — with celebrity chef Tiffani Faison and Radio Bosto n host Tiziana Dearing at an afterparty following the Monday, Jan. 30 " Curated Cuisine " event at CitySpace .
